Under the supervision of thePerinatologist, the Ultrasound Technologist shall provide sonographic services to the patient. The Technologist shall operate ultrasound equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms; maintaining equipment and supplies. The Sonographer shall provide sonographic service in multiple environments including the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center, and the areas of the Women's and Infants Center. The Ultrasound Technologist's performance and behavior shall be both reflective and supportive of the Mission Statement and Core Values of the Hospital. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment.




· Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology.

· Must be Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Board Eligible. Must be scheduled to take board exams within six months of hire date. Must have RDMS registry within 12 months of hire date within their specialty.

· Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required (maintain current at all times).
