Job Description
Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician II assists in the distribution of medications for inpatient and outpatient use. The Pharmacy Technician II job duties encompass those of the Inventory Control, narcotic record keeping and distribution and sterile products preparation.Qualifications:
Licensure/certification/registration: National Technician Certification.
Experience Preferable: 2 years hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent) or graduation from a certified technician program.
Special Skills & Qualifications: Prepackaging machine, AS400 Order Entry ( if applicable), Digimedics System (if applicable), Dino System (if applicable), Cerner (if applicable), PYXIS System (if applicable), compounding equipment, Automix, Micromix, or Baxa.
