Job Summary: This position is responsible for accurate and timely performance of various test methodologies in an appropriate manner and reporting test results to patient care units so that lab services consistently provide high quality patient care.




Skills & Abilities: Posses a high level of quantitative skills. Proficient in using gel technology and in performing manual methods of appropriate test procedures.. Excellent oral and written communication skills.



Training & Education: A Bachelor of Science medical technology or biological sciences from an accredited institution and technician level ASCP, HEW or equivalent required. Must be qualified under CLIA 88 to perform Moderate to High Complexity Testing. Maintains current certification.



Experience: Minimum of one year experience preferred.








Supervisory Responsibility: Reports to Transfusion Service Manager
