Responsible for accurately performing all receiving and stocking functions for the Operating Room and Same Day Surgery. This includes verification of deliveries; as well as, transporting supplies to designated O.R. location.


· Knowledge of Inventory Control, Surgical Supplies, and Instruments.

· High School Graduate.

· One year experience in supply distribution area.

· Must have organizational skills, knowledge of inventory control, and data entry.

· Must be able of cross training for O.R. Materials Management Coordinator position.

· Requires good working relationship and communication skills with physician's, O.R., and Hospital Staff.

· Works in a controlled O.R. environment with some exposure to Warehouse environment.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
