The Operating Room Assist Tech will assist and perform duties under the direction of the on site supervision RN when providing delegated patient care. They will assist the RN during surgical procedures to facilitate turnover, run errands as necessary, and pull cases; will also assist during emergency situations under the direction of the RN. . Must have knowledge of aseptic technique and safe patient care practices in positioning and room set-up and be able to operate sterilization equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or EXPERIENCE
Medical knowledge and sterilizing knowledge preferred or tech or PCT experience desirable.

REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
Heartsaver within 60 days of employment.

Good interpersonal communication skills
