The Endoscopy Technician will assist and perform patient care duties under the direction of the on site supervision RN. They will assist the RN and physician during diagnostic ph monitoring testing, bravo placement and therapeutic procedures, assist during emergency situations under the direction of the RN, assist in data collection for objective assessment to identify the patient's needs, problems, concern or human responses, and assist with the established plan of care after demonstrating competency for such. Will be responsible for Olympusdictation up keep. They will provide a safe environment, comply with regulatory requirements and policies, be knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of endoscopy/gastroenterology, and participate in PI activities as directed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or EXPERIENCE
Medical knowledge and sterilizing knowledge preferred or tech or PCT experience desirable.

REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
Heartsaver within 60 days of employment.

OTHER REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
Good interpersonal communication skills.
