The EMT/ED Tech assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse\Licensed Practical Nurse.

-The EMT/ED Tech assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse\Licensed Practical Nurse.

-Current EMT/Medical Assistant Certification /Foreign Medical Graduate Degree or a minimum of two years experience as an Emergency Department Technician.

-Current BLS Certification at time of hire.

-Current ACLS Certification preferred.

-Current PALS Certification preferred.

-Basic arrhythmia course preferred.
