Director Pharmacy Services:
The Pharmacy Director shall be the pharmacist in charge and maintain control and custody over the possession of dangerous drugs acquired by the institution. The Director is responsible for overall administrative policies governing the pharmacy department, for organizing, developing, directing and coordinating interdepartmental activities of the pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Director is an employee of JFK Hospital and is accountable only to JFK hospital in order to maintain confidentiality of patient and medical staff information.
The Pharmacy Director reports to Hospital Administration and is responsible for all salaries and hourly subordinate personnel of the Pharmacy Department at JFK Memorial Hospital.

Minimum of 3-5 years management experience in a clinical hospital environment.
Education - A graduate of a five-year pharmacy course from a College of Pharmacy approved by the National Board. License - Possess a valid current license as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of California. Individual shall be familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, and clinical pharmacy practice. Good computer skills a plus.
