This position is responsible for assisting the pharmacist by performing preparatory and manipulative tasks required in compounding and dispensing medications. These tasks may be lawfully delegated by the pharmacist under his/her supervision. In addition, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

Possesses the skills and knowledge necessary to assist the pharmacist in distributive and clerical functions.
Good communication skills and experience with computerized pharmacy systems necessary.
Pharmacy technician training and hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Current Certification from the California State Board of Pharmacy.
