RESPIRATORY THERAPIST - PRN - VARIED SHIFTS
Job Description
This position requires the knowledge, technical experience and interpersonal ability necessary in the performance of pulmonary care. Incumbent must be able to demonstrate competency by having been awarded registry by the NBRC and must have a Georgia Respiratory Licence with three years of experience in respiratory care including recent NICU experience.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Able to demonstrate competency by having been awarded the registry by the NBRC. Three years experience in respiratory care.
Desired: Five years experience in all areas of respiratory care with one year recent NICU experience.
License/Certification: Registered by the NBRC. Must be licensed by the State of in blood gas lab. BLS and NRP certification required. Requires considerable walking or standing, moving of some heavy equipment, moving of small equipment, patient contact and occasional periods of high stress.
