Job Description
Qualifications: CRT, ARRT, CA Fluoroscopy permit or obtain within 120 day of hire. Current CPR certification (American Heart Association approved BLS). Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the theories, principles, practices and techniques of Radiologic Technology. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.Duties: Receives patients. Review consultation form. Prepares patients for exam. Performs indicated imaging procedure as per Departmental manual. Processes images and reviews for content and quality. Completes necessary paperwork and discharges patients. Do portable imaging procedures as required/directed by supervisor. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (KP's code of conduct) by maintaining confidentiality, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, accreditation and licensure requirements, and KP policies and procedures. Notes: This is a Part-time position scheduled 20 to 39 hours per week depending upon need. Shift assignments variable. May be scheduled to work day shift, evening shift or night shift as deemed necessary. May be scheduled to work at outlying Clinics.
