Job Description

DEPARTMENT: Consolidated Prescription Pharmacy
SCHEDULE: Full-time, regular; 40hrs/week; SHIFT: Variable; Sunday through Saturday
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent
experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Substantial experience (usually 7years) in all aspects of computer operations, Requires decisiveness, strong judgment, strong managerial skills and considerable aptitude in human relations. Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. PIMS experience, pharmacy technician license, and central fill prescription robotics experience in the various pharmacy dispensing technologies.

DUTIES: Responsible for the formulation and realization of goals, enhancement, and plans as related to the pharmacy robotics system, equipment, and pharmacy information system Directs the section in the operation, installation, and training of equipment and system processes , and enhancements to optimize
equipment utilization and production flow. Assigns personnel to the various operations and directs their activities. Manages and directs the training of the CPP staff and other personnel as related to computer equipment and new technologies. Provides guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up
on client inquires and problem reports, and in the identification and resolution of reported problems of malfunctions in the pharmacy's filling technologies, and other automated/robotics system issues. Coordinates with other data processing managers and vendors to identify and resolve problems.
Represents the area in meetings with support groups, vendors, and management. Assists in the design/architecture of system enhancements and equipment analysis to improve overall efficiencies. Performs related duties as assigned or request.
