JOB SUMMARY: Tests and evaluates the extent of patients disability and plans and administers physical therapy treatment through the use of various exercise techniques and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the physician referral. Makes members/patients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains productive member/patient relationships. Actively seeks information to understand member/patient circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs. Builds rapport and cooperative relationship with members/patients. Considers how actions or plans will affect members; responds quickly to meet member/patient needs and resolves problems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in physical therapy, and eligible for licensure or licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado. Demonstrated customer service skills, customer focus abilities and the ability to understand Kaiser Permanente customer needs. National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluates the extent of patients disabilities to determine appropriate treatment programs using a variety of tests, such as manual muscle test, goniometry, functional testing and gait analysis.
Plans therapy programs and administers treatment to restore body function and strength, relieve pain and prevent disability through use of various therapeutic techniques, such as exercise programs, facilitation techniques, muscle reeducation, gait training, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy.
Provides and demonstrates instruction to patient. Maintains medical record of evaluation, treatment and progress for each patient

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $29.72 - $33.83 (Hourly)
