Qualifications: Current CA RN license and AHA BLS Certification. One (1) year recent (within the last three (3) years) full time equivalent experience in ED or successful completion of a KP or equivalent ED training program within prior 12 months. Current ACLS and PALS card required. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. At least one (1) year experience as RN in an Emergency Department within the past three (3) years preferred.
Notes: Schedule varies. If twelve (12) hour option chosen, evening shift will be 11:30 am-12:00 am, back up 8 hour evening shift will be 3:30 pm-12:00 am. May be required to work in triage and as relief charge nurse as needed and after training by the dept. May be required to assist in the training of new staff members.
