Qualifications: Current CA RN license and AHA BLS Certification. One (1) year recent (within the last three (3) years) full-time equivalent experience in an acute care setting. Basic Arrhythmia course required. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree. ACLS, EKG and Fire Life Safety certificate. Experience with central line care/management and/or CAPD certified. Computer skills. Nursing process and current modalities of the medical surgical cardiac monitored patients. Effective oral and written communication skills. Commitment to excellence in patient care; works to improve patient care/safety. Ability to deal with patients from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. Effective time a management. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff. Basic PC skills.
Notes: Schedule varies, collaborative scheduling. If twelve (12) hour option chosen, shift will be 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, back up eight (8) hour shifts will be 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
