Qualifications: Current CA RN license AHA BLS certification. One (1) year recent (within the last three (3) years) full-time equivalent experience in a Critical Care, DOU or SDU setting, or must have successfully completed a KP or equivalent Critical Care, DOU or SDU course (as unit appropriate). Basic Arrhythmia course required. Ventilator training may be required. Current ACLS card required. Previous Charge Nurse or Team Leader experience. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred, charge Nurse training. One (1) year recent experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. PICC line, chemo cert., vent, EKG recognition, and/or CAPD. Basic computer skills, nursing process and current nursing modalities of the telemetry patients. Effective oral and written communication skills. customer service skills & strategies to interact successfully with complex issues. Effective time management. good communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and members.
Notes: Schedule varies will work three (3) - 12 hour shifts per week. If twelve (12) hour option chosen, shift will be 7:00pm-7:30am, back up 8 hour shift will be 11:00pm-7:30am.
