Assists in the performance of Diagnostic and Interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, under the direction of the Medical Director and First Line Supervisor in accordance with departmental procedures. Performs various duties associated with this position. The position treats/cares for patients of all ages.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Completion of an approved (AMA) program for Cardiovascular Technology with certificate. Must be registry eligible by Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Must have current certificate for AHA Basic Life Support (CPR). Current ACLS card preferred. Membership in national organization for Cardiovascular Technologists is desirable. Completion of required clinical competencies on an annual basis
