Under direct supervision of the Manager of Pharmaceutical Services, the pharmacy technician assists the pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining appropriate patient records and charges. The needs of patients served by the Pharmacy Technician includes skilled nursing, psychiatry, substance abuse and rehabilitation. This position is represented by SEIU, Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

SPECIFICATIONS
Description Minimum Required Preferred / Desired Experience
2 years hospital pharmacy experience or similar.

Education
Must be high school graduate or completed a high school equivalency course.

Training Special Skills
Ability to work mathematical calculations accurately.

Licensure
CT PHRMTEC = Certified Pharmacy Tech in State of NV CT PHRMTEC
