LAB ASSISTANT
Job Description
High school diploma or college credits. Appropriately licensed by the State of Nevada or eligible for licensure within six months. Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Ability to work and problem solve independently. Flexibility to work any shift as needed. Preferred: a graduate as a Lab Assistant from a State accredited program. At least 6 months experience performing phlebotomy (drawing blood) in an acute care setting.The Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist collects and processes inpatient and outpatient blood specimens to be analyzed by testing staff.
