EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Valid California Driver’s License (driving record must be free of violations)
Requires successful completion of Road Test and Defensive Drivers Training Course.

High school graduate. Previous experience dealing with the public is desired. Ability to handle people in diverse situations. Successful completion of refresher Defensive Drivers Training Course and Road Test

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs such duties, which include, but are not limited to, pick up and delivery of specimens, supplies and reports between hospitals, laboratories, clients, and physicians’ offices. Transportation of other items as instructed by supervisor or designee. Communicate effectively with physicians, physicians’ office staff, co-workers and community. Recognizes and documents mechanical problems and completes preventative maintenance checklist. Plans, organizes and shares work cooperatively according to demand.
