Job Description
Initiate, monitor, administer, educate and document all aspects of respiratory care to include, aerosolized medication, chest physiotherapy, continuous mechanical ventilation, o2 therapy, positive pressure therapy, code blue response, maintain and establish patent airways.Perform routine diagnostic studies to include but not limited to pft’s, abg’s, o2sat, capnography, venipuncture, glucoscan, ekg’s, and bronchoscopies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program or equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience in an acute care facility.
Current licensure as a respiratory care practitioner by the state of California.
BLS certification at time of hire.
PALS and ACLS-certified within six months of hire.
