Bilingual therapists work with monolingual and bilingual children and adults to diagnose and treat a variety of language, articulation, voice and fluency conditions. While bilingual therapists most frequently work in school settings, they can also be found in private practice or in consultant positions.

Most bilingual therapists have a masters degree in the field, though some work with only a bachelors degree. While the majority of bilingual therapists work with Spanish-speaking patients, there is demand for speakers in many other languages as well.
